The Minister of Economy and Finance, Mr. Ahmet Shala, hosted the Chief of the Austrian Liaison Office in Prishina Mr. Gernot Pfandler

During the meeting that he had with the Chief of Austrian Liaison Office in Prishtina, Mr. Gernot Pfandler, Minister Shala expressed his acknowledgment to the Government and people of Austria for their cooperation and support they provided during these years.  

“We discussed about the possibility of continuing the cooperation between Austria and Kosovo in the future. I expressed my acknowledgment to the Austrian Ambassador, on behalf of the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Government of Kosovo, for all help that the Government and people of Austria provided for the recovery and development of the Kosovo’s economy” said Minster Shala.

 After congratulating the Minister Shala for taking office of his position, the Chief of Austrian Liaison Office in Prishtina, Mr. Gernot Pfandler said: “I am very impressed by the dynamic work that your Government is doing and I am confident that it is very good and, on sound steps, will lead to a faster development of the Kosovo’s economy”

The Conference with Donors was one of the many issues that were discussed during the meeting, for which the Minister said “We also discussed about the preparations regarding the Conference with Donors in order to better prepare this Conference in coordination with the local and international institutions”.

It was also discussed about the stimulation of Austrian companies to invest in Kosovo.
